For those of you that did not know, I worked with a Blasting Company, ORICA, before I decided to quit and enter the teaching profession. August 1st was my last day with ORICA. So, as a going away present, my boss decided to take me out on the Quarry and let me push the button that would blast the rock for that day. Of course, just as I pushed the button to set off the explosion, my boss turned around quickly and said, "Oh NO, don't do it yet." And then BOOM! Needless to say, his little joke sent my heart into my throat :) I am going to miss those guys, they were good to me. And now I am here, two weeks away from starting the next chapter in my life, teaching.
